We are excited to announce that we have opened bookings for our inaugural Saturday drive and double header event which will be taking place on the 24th September.
We will be leaving Macclesfield at around 9:00am before driving across the Peak District to Mellors Elliot Motorsport for a workshop tour and talk from Ben Mellors who will also be providing us with refreshments.
MEM have built a fabulous reputation over the last 35 years for construction, preparation and support of all kinds of racing and rally cars. Most recently they were responsible for the design and manufacture of the FIA homologated Proton Iriz R5.
Furthermore, Ben from MEM will be sharing information about their development of a Porsche Cayman S based 914, which was much publicised a couple of years ago.

At around 12:00 noon we shall leave MEM for another drive across some of the fabulous Peak District roads to The Great British Car Journey museum in Ambergate, Derbyshire where we will arrive at around 1:00pm and have reserved PCGB parking.
After lunch in their Filling Station Cafe, members will be able to enjoy the sights and stories in this fabulous museum which track the history of British car manufacturing before we head back across the Peak District for home.
