Hi all,

As mentioned, at club night and on the newsletter, Amy Carnaffin and myself are running a concours event at Porsche Teeside exclusively for PCGB members on Sunday 16th October.

We are looking to get outside catering for this event too and anyone wanting to attend and not entering concours, is of course very welcome; have a good nose round the showroom and drinks some nice coffee.

If the weather is being typically British, we can use the workshop to keep the cars pristine.

So get those microfibres and cotton buds out and let's see what R3 cars can look like at their best. I'm contacting our neighbouring regions to have a visitor section too.

Further details to follow as and when.

Please contact Amy or myself to register but numbers will be limited, so get you're name in quick if you want to enter.

David.

Hello David and Amy,

Can we register our interest for Teeside Concours and Social.

Kind regards,

Raj and Sam

Please add Deb & I to your list of attendees regarding the social meet only. Nothing better than a catch up with like minded members at the home of the knowledgeable and fabulous Teesside team.

Thanks for all for the interest so far here and at Corbridge; it's been brilliant. Pleased that some people that have not considered concours entry before are looking to get involved; there will be a newcomer's trophy up for grabs too, so don't be shy,. I think a good bit of healthy competition, and the banter that I know will ensue, will make for fun day.

Please spread the word about the social side, as well as the concours, and we'll make it great little event.

Entry forms will be posted here very shortly indeed.

Thanks, David.

Quick update, I've been informed by Porsche Teeside that we can accomodate 12 cars outside but only 8 inside the workshop. Taking the time of year into account I've decided to limit the numbers to 8 so any bad weather can be avoided for entrants. Due to this restriction we won't be having a visitors section; all the more trophies for us though :)

I have the following people having expressed interest:

Steve and Shirley Gary and Michelle Mike and Barbara Adam Julian Raj and Sam

Alister

Alex

Entry will be prioristised on form return date due to these limited number(these will be issued by end of this week).

Thanks,

David.

Hi David and Amy, I'll be there with Abigail or Jackie but I won't be entering the Concours, thanks and looking forward to it.

I'm due to pickup the keys to my new car that very week, if I was to arrange collection that day do you think it would be cheating to enter LOL

Lol, not cheating but you won't get points for mileage or age and can you guarantee that your petrol cap will be clean?!

Thats the beauty if concours - many ways to level the playing field :)

Doh I thought the concours was that it had to be as if it’d just left the factory…thought I was onto a winner there!

…and the petrol ca better be clean LOL

I will try to get down for a couple of hours but won’t be entering the concours. I miss the club night there in September as we’re on holiday (again!!)
