My 997 was in for a service with the local dealer the other day. I asked them if they could get hold of a couple of miscellaneous items, the clear plastic protection on the rear of the door frame and a replacement for a missing grommet. Unfortunately they can no longer get hold of these items, I know that I could get some protection film myself and cut it out but it would be so much better if I could get hold of the original item. As to the grommet, I don't know what size it is so would not know where to start looking. If anybody has any clues as to where I could find the missing parts could you let me know? I have tried Design911 without any joy. Pictures are below for information.

Ask Rick Cannell if he does the film http://www.highgatehouse.co.uk/ he's a club member.
As for the grommet if you can ask Porsche for the part number Ebay will often have the part you want or call one of the garages like JAZ or JZM and ask them if they can source it.

Design911 can 100% source those stickers as I have ordered a few sets in the past for myself and other friends. I’m sure they can source the grommet as well. Ask for Steve, he’s super helpful and has always found all the parts I’ve needed.
