GTS Servicing Recommendations

Will be looking at the next service for my 991.2 GTS in December at about 55000 miles. Any recommendations around London / Essex? I previously used Porsche South London for my 997 - £800 for a major service, when Porsche East London was £1250.....and they're both Jardine!

I see the drive belt is a service item is coming up - how much am I looking at?

Thanks!

Porsche South London is technically my local but I am less than impressed with them these days or should I say Jardine. I got a Macan from them which was serviced free, but the quotes for work on that after was laughable. I once called for a quote on alignment, (which was terrible and how the car was sold). They quoted a hilarious £450 and then called back to say they could do it a bit cheaper (£360). I got it done for half this in the end elsewhere. Whenever I have asked questions of the sales or service department just don't know the answers. I end up getting the answers through research.

The 991.1 GTS I have now will be up for a service soon. At the moment I have considered.

La Rose Porsche - Sevenoaks area. They did a little repair job for me before. They seem helpful, compentant and give PCGB members 10% off. Prices are a fraction of an OPC.
RPM Technik - Long Marston. Bit of a trek for me but they are part of the Porsche Partner Network. They also have and use the official PIWIS system. Prices higher than others but still a lot less than an OPC. Tempted to use them despite the trek.
Weston Porsche - Bromley. Just about to try these guys for a small brake bias adjustment. Not a flashy garage but they have been around for 35yrs so must be doing something right. We will see.

Most indy's show fixed pricing. Drive belt replacement seems to be around the £200 mark with VAT. But if thats due then I assume its needs a service too with the brake fluid change.

Apart from this I am as interested in anyone about competant service companies. I am less inclined to use an OPC due to the cost and frankly competance. I bought my GTS after it had had a 6yr service by Teeside OPC. I have not had any issues with the car apart from very uninspiring brakes. People have looked at them and I have considered various upgrades. After a couple of trackdays and prior to a a visit to CAT at Millbrook I thought I would check the brake reservoir. It was full to the neck! After taking enough out of it to get just below the max line, the brakes are now much better. I have now discovered a bias issue. So much for an OPC. Its not lost on me that many dealer franchises have service departments staffed by Technicians as opposed to Mechanics. The definition being to carry out a task rather than diagnose and understand a fault. Most independents seem to be started by experienced, Porsche trained mechanics.
