i have a 1985 911 3.2 targa which has been stored in a garage over the last 6 years. it currently will turn over but not start. Does anyone know what the value is and the best place to sell it?

Sorry, I don't mean to come across as rude or sarcastic but you might as well ask how long a bit of string is.

How about some information? History, condition, location, any significant engine or body work done or needed? Condition of the top? Photos inside and out? A non-running car is harder to sell because of the unknown risk as to what the fix is.

You don't say if you are prepared to spend any money to make the sale. I assume it's just lack of use that has caused it not to run now and it wasn't already faulty 6 years ago. Perhaps get in touch with a local Porsche independent, try looking in the back of Porsche Post, (yellow section: Trading Post, the very first advert is for Auto2000 if they are near you or someone similar and see what they say) or, ask the question on who to use here? If they could recommission the car you can sell it for a better price than how it is now. Alternatively there may be an Independent Porsche sales specialist that could buy the car. This would be a safe way to move the car on, rather than not knowing who may turn up to 'take it off your hands'. Steve
