[blockquote]We will be holding a skills day at the Swan's Nest on Thursday July 21st and Saturday August 13th between 1000 and 1500. If any of your members would like to sample what we do, they will be welcome.
This is not a 5 hour event and the actual time here would be between 1 & 2 hours, depending on which activities they wish to do and the numbers on site at the time. (Might be an idea to think of it as a morning or afternoon) Non members of Exeter Advanced will be asked to take temporary membership for the day so that we comply with our insurance. This will be at no cost to them.
Activities include: (none timed)
Know the width and length of your car.
Slalom through cones.
Reverse slalom through cones.
Parallel parking
Under the bonnet
Safety check of car and driver
Reaction speed tests (not in car)
Opportunity for assessed drive**
Opportunity to receive demonstration drive.
Highway code test
A chance to ask the team about advanced driving.
Tea/coffee

Hi R15...
I’m not from your area, but it’s well worth the time and effort to take an Advanced Motorist course, which I would always recommend to anyone [:)]
