After two years of waiting, at long last the countdown to our Region 5 Classic Le Mans adventure at the Lycian Events, Village on the Porsche Curves is well and truly on.

In case you haven’t already taken a look the Le Mans Classic website, this has all of the information that you will need. In the meantime, please see attached Program of events for your information. Whatever you do, don’t miss the Group C cars!

Furthermore, if you are interested in joining our convoy to Poole, we are planning to set off from Chelford, SK11 9EB at 6pm on Wednesday afternoon. We have also arranged to pick up some other cars to join the convoy at Sandbach services at 6:30pm. It should be an impressive site to see so many Porsches all together and Sophie, will try and get some great photos and footage to make a short film of our R5 road trip.

For those of you that don’t have to work on Wednesday Phil Graham and some others will be setting off earlier in the day, so do please contact Phil and let him know if you would like to join them instead.

Should anyone attending our trip have any questions queries or concerns before or during the trip, please do not hesitate to contact me:

Martin Davis 07718 307977 or Sophie Davis 07803 322715

Alternatively you can contact Joy / Stephen Fowell of Lycian Events on: 07794 103874

Further to my earlier post regarding the forthcoming Region 5 pilgrimage to the fabulous Classic Le Mans event, R5 members Phil Graham and Steve Collins have also been busy today getting their Porsches ready for the trip. I think that both of their cars look great in their 956 Region 5 tribute liveries and will look even better altogether with the rest of our convoy en route to the legendary La Sarthe.

Thank you to everyone that joined us for our Region 5 trip to the Classic Le Mans over the last five days.
We had a fabulous drive down to the Village on the Curves in a spectacular convoy and had an amazing few days enjoying our Porsches as well as some legendary historic / classic racing cars still being driven as they were intended.
We hope that all of you that joined us enjoyed the trip, and had as much fun and made as many incredible memories as we did.
Finally I would like to thank Joy Fowell & Stephen Fowell and their fabulous team Lycian Events Limited for hosting us so well, and also Sophie Davis and Jemma Davis for all of their help and support with everything that went on behind the scenes.
Should any of you have any video footage that you would like Sophie to include in our forthcoming R5 video film of the event, please get in touch with me.
