Very odd Turbo transmission issue

Hi .
New member here. I've had a Boxster , Cayman S and now on a 996 Turbo manual.
I bought the Turbo late last year from a Porsche Specialist which I've never done before , I always buy private and never had any problems, I work on my cars myself , I've done IMS on Boxster as well as full brake overhaul , radiators , wheel bearing etc, I have a lift on my farm so it's much easier.
The car is a very low mileage one (8300) when I bought it, been in a collection apparently, I wanted a really clean one as a keeper and also I figured I could put 20k miles on it over a few years and probably get close to my money back.
Basically it's like new but I've had a couple of problems with it sitting so long, the fuel level sender was toast so they sent me a new one which I fitted and broke down with a knackered voltage regulator which I replaced , but there is a more worrying problem with it which I noticed on it's first proper run down to the Lakes in March.
I had been driving for about 1.5hrs and exited the M6 at Penrith , that's when I noticed a bit of a grumble from the rear , pulling away from the lights it seemed to have slight "play" in the transmission , like a small clunk and the throttle seemed more snatchy...wierd right? I couldn't pull over there so drove for about 3 miles and found a layby, I thought I was going to have to call Green Flag but I sat for 15mins or so and tried it again, it was fine, I carried on it wasn't so bad and next morning when it's cold it's perfect, no noise , no grumble and no snatchy throttle.
It still does it on every trip after about an hour of driving, so when the gearbox is at full temperature I suppose and when the clutch is engaged. Particularly noticeable going from speed into a 30mph zone and driving slowly
The dealer is keen to help but they're about a 7hr drive from me so not easy to pop in and show them.
My plan is to change the gearbox oil as looking at the re commissioning work they did on the car, they didn't change this !
Anyone have any idea? I was thinking DMF but it's fine when cold, engine, gearbox mounts?
Sorry it's really hard to describe and I tried filming it on my phone but not very helpful.

I thought I'd update this incase anyone ever gets a similar problem.
To re-cap the car felt like something was properly worn or about to break, I was thinking of getting it recovered.
I changed the gearbox oil myself and the oil that came out was nearly black! It's been in there from new so nearly 18yrs! I've kept a litre sample in case the gearbox implodes one day and I have something to use in my defence for a claim.
Anyway it's now way better and I did the same trip last week and it was perfect, the more I drive it the better it gets so I've no idea what was causing it. The Turbo is a total "does it all" car , I love it and probably won't ever change it.
