Due to the change of hotel there are now a small number of extra rooms available for both the

WOTY Friday 30 September to Sunday 2nd October (2 nights) or the
MOTY Tuesday 4th October to Thursday 6th October. (2 nights)

The original hotel for these events has been sold and all bookings were cancelled.

The event is now based at the 4 star Philipburn Country House Hotel on the outskirts of the Scottish Border town of Selkirk, surrounded by great, empty driving roads, and wonderful scenery. Hopefully we will have exclusive use of the hotel.

There will be great driving routes to enjoy on the Saturday / Wednesday.

The hotel can be reached in just over 3 hours from Wetherby but we will plan a fabulous fun drive to get there, going across some of England emptiest spaces, and some fine driving roads, with a lunch stop in a simple moorland pub on the way.

We are staying two nights and the cost for these two nights, dinner bed and breakfast will be £420 per double room; single occupancy will be £310.

Please book your accommodation direct with the hotel by telephone on 01750 720 747, and please only ring between 11am and 4pm.
They will require a deposit by credit card.

Make sure that you tell them that you are with the Porsche Club, and very importantly whether you are staying on the WOTY nights of 30th Sept / 1st October) or the MOTY nights of 4th/5th October.

If you want a longer stay please feel free to book extra nights. (but please don't book yourself on both events)

Online booking is not available.

VERY IMPORTANT - Once you have booked please email us at r7ontrack@gmail.com

This is vital because otherwise we won’t know you are joining us, and we won’t be able to contact you with further details.
We need you to tell us:

Which event you are going on (WOTY or MOTY)
Names of everyone in your party
PCGB membership number (the event is for members only)
Model of you car
Registration number
Colour
Mobile telephone number
Any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

We have now visted the hotel and found it to be be very pleasant, clean and well maintained, and the food is good too!
It will be an excellent base to explore the stunning and empty roads in the Borders region.

There are some photos of the hotel, and the empty roads awaiting here, to see on the PCGB Yorkshire Facebook page

The extra places are being booked up, so if you want to come - and it will be great - you best hurry up

Unfortunately we have had to cancel attending the MOTY as a result of breaking my ankle yesterday.
Hope those attending have a great time.

Tim, very sorry to hear the bad news, just hope it’s not too bad a break and it heals quickly.

regards Steve & Sally Todd
