Simply Porsche - Beaulieu 05/06/22

A small number of us are going.

Arrangements are not yet fixed but I am thinking an early start from Aspley Guise, with another meeting point at Buckingham, and travelling via the A34.

Some are staying near Beaulieu on Saturday night or Sunday night.

I will be putting more on this thread as soon as I can, and also on the WhatsApp group and Facebook group.
Anyone seeing this who wants to join a convoy or will be there and wants to meet, please reply to this post.

Many thanks.
Mark

Will be good to see some of you as I'm never able to make the Saturday meet-ups. I also detest Facebook but will probably have to stomach it if the activities tend to get planned there and not so much on the forum.

I'm currently planning on staying in Southampton for Saturday night, driving back on Sunday afternoon.

Hi Mark,

Maria & I are going will be interested in joining convoy along the way.

thank you
Anthony & Maria

I also detest Facebook. It's a kids thing really.
What's wrong with good old e-mail?
Or the R10 page on the Forum.

Hi Steve,

We have members of all ages, some of whom look at Facebook, others look at the forum, and others join the R10 Whatsapp group. As an ordinary member, who just chips in from time to time to organise or assist with a few things, I do not have access to all email addresses.

It relies on individuals to choose the platform they want, and it takes new members different lengths of time to work out which they prefer.

Having said that, this is an R10 forum message, where I said I would post messages about Beaulieu, and I will do.

I will also put mention on Facebook and WhatsApp.

There is lots of day to day activity on the R10 Whatsapp group and urgent/ short notice stuff gets on there. I recommend you join it if you haven't already.

Cheers.
Mark

Thanks Mark,
Do I request to join the Whatsapp group?
If so, what's it called?
Or do I have to be invited?
If so, can someone invite me?
Steve

Good morning all.

This is info for the Beaulieu bunch for Sunday.

Having taken advice from previous participants, I suggest arriving at the venue about 10:00am. This allows the holding car park for early starters to clear, and might just mean not much queuing, although it will be very busy.

We need to leave my house at 7:00am, passing Esso/ Best Western Buckingham at 7:30 to pick up Anthony and Maria.

From there it’s down to Tesco at Dibden SO45 5JA for around 9:30, where we can meet those that travelled down on Saturday, refuel if required, and finish with the short drive to Beaulieu.
How does that sound?

Silversword, what is your name, Porsche model and reg. and mobile number please? You can email that info to me at mark.grimwood1@btinternet.com or p.m. me on here.

Steve, I don’t know if you are going or if you were simply commenting, but email/pm me the info please if you are going and want to join the happy R10 bunch.

Looking forward to seeing you all…
Cheers
Mark and Linda

Hi Mark, I have emailled you details as requested, I'm looking forward to finally meeting some of my fellow R10-ers.
