Anybody used Elite Porsche in Belvedere for servicing?

I'd like to hear from anybody that has had servicing or other work done at Elite Porsche in Belvedere. Were they good, how do their prices compare etc. My 987 Cayman is due an MOT soon (I bought it in November) and I'm trying to work out whether to use the OPC in Sidcup or an independent. Appreciate any recommendations.

no 1st hand experience.

Not heard anything bad about them but they don’t come up as "the go to place" very often either.

i would expect their labour rates to be cheaper than an OPC and they probably by default would fit pattern parts so I suggest a comparison of what you get for you money. Remember that PCGB gets you 10% before vat on parts and if you car is more than 10 years old some opc charge a lower labour rate. I have found a couple of times that once I donated like for like there wasnt a huge difference in price

for small jobs where OPC has been while I wait (and work on their WiFi ) where an Indy has been a whole day or more it’s suited me.

but. If it’s just an MOT then there’s a fixed maximum price of about £55 wherever you get it done - I had mine done at Tonbridge OPC recently. Sat and drank their nice coffee and sat in some nice cars - and they washed the car (very well) for me - all for £55.

Thanks Paul
I was also thinking about an oil change and getting better tyres at the same time as the MOT so thats why I was considering an independent.

Hi

I use them for my 993

Tiny behind the houses/mews style workshop.

Not sure about bodywork and I'd use a specialist e.g. if you wanted geometry setup, but I have no hesitation going there for my servicing or if I had mechanicals not needing such hi-tech technical kit to do (touch wood none needed since I've owned car)
Actually I had car booked in for service Friday, needed to call Thursday morning to reschedule because I tested positive for COVID. For a small business where I guess rescheduled appt can be a blow he was very cordial and accomodating.

Happy to do labour-only services if you want to bring your own oil and bits, deducting his costs from the already reasonable prices.

The proprietor is great, helps that he clearly is a petrol head and loves Porsche...used to race Porsche in lower formulas until bits got too expensive. I think he's now into BMW (the pictures in the Motorsport section on his website are his own cars)

Chris

Thanks Chris

I did take my Cayman to Graham at Elite. He did the MOT, oil change and new Michelin Pilot Sports. He did do the geometry for me and it is now a much improved drive as a result.

He is a petrolhead as you say - showed me photos of his GT2. I also found out he is a club member as well although hasn't really attended any meets. His premises are a bit of a squeeze so I'm glad I didn't have to manoeuvre my car out of the corner!

Regards
Ed
