Hello, looking at phone holders for 991,

Looking at Brodit ones, but I think I need to screw them into the dash...ideally want something that is no permanent impact...maybe a windscreen mounted?

any recommendations, please?

Thanks, Steven

Something that works well and is very reasonably priced is the Yosh magnetic mount. These mounts fit most cars as they just slide onto the air vent. Worked very well for me in my 991. I used the middle passenger vent and the phone sat perfectly against the side of the PCM and held firmly in place. They come supplied with a magnetic sticker which u just put on the back of your phone case or inside it. Simple and effective and as you requested easily removed within seconds.

I also have a Brodit (which is excellent) and used the radio mounting bolts- as per www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCXy2VafYD0 but I used my own 'home-made' bracket rather than the Rennline one.

I had to spend a little bit of time creating the bracket between the Brodit and the mounting bolt but very pleased with the outcome. Really firm and no need for any drilling or cutting.
