Cayenne Starter Motor failure

Cayenne V6 tiptronic petrol 2018 33k miles

Starter motor recently failed at a busy, junction locked in park. AA unable to rectify, towed away to Porsche dealer. Car returned two weeks three days later with new starter motor fitted, bill £1200. The two weeks repair time was the best of my local Porsche dealers, worst quote four weeks. Cost of new starter motor negates the stop start cost saving over 33k miles. Stater motor failure with stop start is more probable in traffic causing major inconvenience and disruption and not a good look.

Has any other owner had a similar experience?

Sorry to hear about that, we have a 2020 model closing in on 30k miles with no issues, still got two and a half years warranty so extra peace of mind
