Porsche Club Great Britain at the Donington Historic Festival
I wanted to give you a quick update re bookings for your club for this year's Donington Historic Festival, and to remind you that all club tickets must be booked by 5pm on 19 April.

As of this afternoon, we have the following numbers of cars booked for your club display stand at the event:

Saturday 30 April: 194
Sunday 1 May: 197

If you need me to re-send you the booking instructions for your members, just let me know. I'd also like to remind all clubs that they should not just send out the club booking code to their members, as members booking online and bringing display cars need to book through the system outlined in the booking information provided previously, which doesn't involve the club code but does need them to use a specific weblink!
ALL DETAILS RE BOOKING IN PORSCHE POST
With thanks and best wishes

Porsche Club Great Britain at DHF 2022

We look forward to welcoming members of your club to Donington Park's Infield on 30 April and/or 1 May! DIsplay vehicle bookings are now closed, but your members can still secure entry tickets at your club's 50% discount until 4pm on Thursday 28 April if they book online at: https://doningtonpark.msv.com/DP-22-Historic/Admission-Tickets or call 0344 225 4422 and quote your club code. Please note this is a different web address to the one your members used to book display parking passes and entry tickets before the 19 April deadline, and they won't be able to secure display parking passes.

Now that display vehicle bookings have closed, I can give you the numbers for vehicles for your stand at this year's Donington Historic Festival.

They are: Saturday 30 April - 211 and Sunday 1 May - 209**

Next week I will email you a stand map so you can see where your club is located in the infield.

Parade Laps
We will be offering a limited number of parade laps to club members and will have this evening emailed all display vehicle pass bookers with the link to book laps.

Entry and exit times for the Infield
On both days of the event you and your club members will be able to gain access from 7.30am until 10am. You will be able to exit the Infield from 4pm onwards.

Having just returned from the Historic, Deb & I would like to thank the members, organisers and grafters of R8 for their stella efforts over the weekend. We had a great time, saw some hard racing, the weather played ball (almost) and despite an apparent lack of HQ support those attending all enjoyed a hot cuppa and a biscuit or two throughout. Brilliant camaraderie and a chance to catch up with old friends and of course as usual make a few new ones, exactly what this Club does best. This event may have had a real "back to basics" feel, but certainly not in a negative way well done to everyone involved.
Hope to do it all again next year. [:)]

Nick & I attended on the Saturday only, driving down from Formby in Irenes 924S which went faultlessly as befits a 37 yr old Porsche
which only gets attention when it tells me.Cruised effortlessly down the M6 ,A500 & A50 at 75mph + where possible & parked at the opposite end to Chris Whittle's newly acquired 944 Turbo Cup.(very nice!).
Only saw Chris & his friend ,Steve plus Roy & Margaret Parker from R18.
I agree with Greg's comments 100% & did thank R8's RO personally before we left.Thanks again,Tom Fisher.
Always a great day out with fabulous close racing .
