Ayone interested in a Porsche Club gathering at Towcester Racecourse Classic Car and Bike

Hi Steve

Thanks for sharing this and I’ve just had a look. The event states that to qualify for the event/display cars they need to be 20yrs or older. Is that what you were thinking?
It’s definitely worth a discussion.

Best wishes
Sue

Oh am I the only one with a car over 20 years old?
I've registered for the event now as my car is 21 years old.
I did see on the web site that clubs were welcome.
Perhaps some other event.

I'm sure other members with cars that qualify will be interested in attending :) I have emailed for further information and will update soon as I get a response.

Best wishes
Sue

They have obviously become a fussy about age as the promo picture clearly shows a recent generation Golf and next to it what might be a McLaren or Ferrari.

A more inclusive event would be Earls Barton. I did the one at Hallaton last year but that was much smaller although the choice of scenic runs to, from and around are too many to list.

This is the email response I received from Towcester:

Hi Sue
Thanks for your email.
Yes cars have to be 20 years plus.
We are happy for clubs to have their own areas, if this is something you would like to do please email all the details to me and we will take it from there.
Kind regards
Geraldine
