Anyone plan on attending this year's sports cars in the park at newby hall?

Will be going just not sure what club/who else is going?

We do usually go but I'm going to have to leave it until closer to the date before I can commit this year. I'll update the post when i know.

Hi a few of us are just about to book for this for general admission, is there any discount through club. Thanks

Hi Guys

I am booked in, live in the Tees Valley are we travelling as a group? If so what time and where

Alastair

I am travelling from teesside. Happy to convoy down if you want to?. Be setting off early to get down their and give the Cayman a quick wipe down. Ques normally pretty long to get in so worth setting off in good time.

We are leaving Murton services approx 9am so look out for a couple of 996 turbos and a 993 turbo. Cheers

What a massive and brilliant show this was. Certainly the largest show of gorgeous cars I have been to for many years.

All manner and makes of cars were on display on this superb showground. Many drivers even managed a 'launch control' on exit to the delight of the assembled who had become to expect it! (on private land of course!)

Bad points:

Not enough food and beverage outlets

Car parking was mixed up and not enough stewards.

All in all a really great day out and will do it again next year!

Hi Peter, R3 stopped attending this event as a Region some years ago, as their ability to cope with a large group arriving together always seemed to let it down due to clueless marshal’s year on year desperately sticking us anywhere in hope to move us along despite pre-booking a club stand.

l personally lost my appetite for it, when we got stuck next to the big bass sound off and rev your car until it explodes crew, for hours on end one year, prior to one of them nearly hitting a big tree on leaving and almost taking out most of those encouraging them to do burn outs etc.

Despite this, there is normally a good turnout of PCGB members, they always seem to get lucky with the weather and usually a great eclectic mix of nice cars on display, albeit not enough food stands and big queues for everything, so it would seem reading your post nothing has changed much, nevertheless good to read you still otherwise enjoyed it.
