Hello,
Joined the club last month after owning my Boxster 987.1 for about a year and a half. Absolutely love it and will definitely be keeping it for quite some time. It replaces an MX5 which I had for almost 12 years, and joins a TVR Griffith which is the summer toy.
Looking forward to going along some meets/events. I spotted there's a breakfast run on the 26th Feb from Chesterfield to Cromford which sounds ideal - is there any more info available re this? Start meet point/time?
Obligatory pic below.
Thanks,
Adrian

Hi Adrian Welcome to the club and region 8 your car looks very smart and just the job for some very enjoyable runs and events. The Boxster of all ages is our most popular car. A couple of our members organise the Sunday runs so if there was a direct contact for them on the details you have seen then contact direct. I will bring your request to their notice anyway. Also join us on our facebook page R8PCGB which tends to be used frequently for events and queries pop your picture on there as well.

Regards Tom R.O.

Thanks Tom!
I can understand why it's so popular - I'm definitely a convert now!
I've put a request to join the FB group so will look out for runs on there as it'd be great to join in on the events.

Hi Adrian and welcome to Porsche Club GB and Region 8.
Please email me at r8@porscheclubgb.com about the breakfast runs and I will forward your details to Axel who is organising these for the group. I'm not sure if he has reached his maximum number but I'm sure he will let you know the situation.

Hope to meet you soon.

Laura

Thanks for that Laura - you now have email.
No worries if this one is already at capacity, I realise I may be a bit late and I’m sure there’ll be plenty more!
I should hopefully be joining at the next meeting at The Coopers Arms too.
Thanks,
Adrian
