Hi, I need new rear discs and pads for my Macan 2 litre. Is there a viable alternative to Porsche parts? Anybody had any experience of alternatives?
Thanks

Eurocarparts seem to be competitive on such parts, but personally I always use OEM, using my Club discount, in order to be on the safe side and preserve extended warranty. [;)]

Thanks Clive, I didn't realise I could get a discount! What items does the discount apply to? I have had quite a bit of OPC work done this last year or so ...

A couple of good bits of advice shown above, Design 911 do offer a Club discount and are most helpful in supplying the full kit with everything you need. I bought Brembo gear from them.

Thanks for all your advice, I’ve had the brakes looked at and there’s still a fair bit of wear left. So much for sensors! I like the idea of DIY, but a guy on YouTube made a bit of a mess of it, which has put me off.

Yes I thought the same, so my local independent advised me to order the the bits myself, from Design911, and he would fit them.
Which he did at a very reasonable rate - all good [:)]
