Hi
I dont know if this is the correct forum to post this:

I would like to book tickets for the Donington Historic Festival. I have been to the event for the last 5 years with my Renault Alpine GTA as a member of Club Alpine Renault. We only had 5 or 6 cars, therefore a small parking / display area infield.

My question is, what is the difference between the `display` area & the general club parking tickets? Presumably parking for all club members is infield. Im bot too bothered about my car being displayed as such, but it would be nice to have it with the other club members Porsches. Just so I book the right tickets [8|]

Hi Paul
The system was/stilL is (I presume) you book your discounted ticket through the advert which will appear in the clubs magazine. This takes you plus passenger in your 'club car' into the 'infield area' also known as display vehicle areas. Find your club area and park up. If you take a shopping car you park in the public carpark outside the track and walk in which is the same if you pay on the day. You cannot pay on the day and take your club car infield. Hope this helps. Cheers Tom

Hi Tom, thanks for the reply.
It sounds like the same as before. The only thing that confused me was that following the links from the club website there are 2 booking options.
Display vehicle:
Non-display vehicle:
I just wasnt sure that if i booked for Non-display that i would be infield or general public parking.

Again a presume, but I think display means on display with the car clubs therefore in field, everything else means public car park outside the circuit.
