Hi I have just bought my first porsche and now need to source parts to complete some repairs, the first being the dashboard as it has some heat cracks. Can anyone direct me to where i can buy either a repair solution or a replacement dashboard. I have been to Porsche at Reading and they could not help so I would be very grateful for any help. The current Dash is dark Blue over white and I have seen the videos on you tube that shows a dash wrap but as i will be keeping this car for many years i need a repair that lasts

Your only solution is just searching all the breakers and Facebook marketplace

all the 944 groups on facespace, eBay
but being a unusual colour combo it might take while

If you have the earlier square dash in a pre 1986 car you can buy replacements here https://www.werk924.eu/dashboards/

If you have the later oval dash then it's pot luck to find a good second hand item or have yours stripped of it's vinyl and then recovered in leather £££

Thanks I have ordered this product and will try it first, if it does not come up to standard I will look for a new Dashboard

Leather covers are available in the UK for RHD oval dash on ebay I think a couple of people on here have fitted them - might be black only though unless a special order.

Hi I managed to find a mint secondhand dashboard from a breaker, it was black over linen but I managed to buy some vinyl/leather colour dye and after applying seven coats it looked really good and now I’ve fitted it I’m very pleased with the results

Hi
I have a 1983 944 with the usual cracked dash. I got it flocked, which turns out to match the inside of the glovebox. I think it looks good, it may not be original but it will save me trying to source a decent replacement.
Cheers

Ralph
