Following the recent sale of my 2010 Gen 2 997 Carrera 4, I'm now selling its 18" Carrera 4 winter wheel set (as sold as an OEM set).

The wheels have covered less than 10,000 miles in their 6 or 7 years of winter use and still have the original Nokian WR N0-rated tyres fitted. Whilst they are reaching 7 or 8 years old they are still at approximately 6mm of tread on each (taking depth measurement from tread wear markings at centre of tyres - see photos in attachment).

To my knowledge, the wheels have never been tracked, buckled, cracked, repaired or repainted. There are no curb marks. They've always been treated with high temp wax at the start of each season so whilst they have a few very small marks on the exterior and some peeling on the inside, grey painted surfaces, they are in good condition. Any marks can be seen on the photos in the attached PDF. I could provide more detailed pictures on request.

Specification:
Front: Part# 997.362.137.01 8Jx18 ET57, Nokian WR N0 235/40 R18 95V XL M+S
Rear: Part# 997.362.143.00 11Jx18 ET51, Nokian WR N0 295/35 R18 99V M+S

Please contact for details.

Thank you for your most valuable, if rather over-dramatic contribution to my "For Sale" post - you forgot to say GLWS but I read between the lines so thank you for that.

I assume you meant never use tyres more than 7 years old on a Porsche, otherwise, what would you dress the wheels with to provide grip and some degree of comfort when driving a Porsche that is more than 7 years old??...

There are numerous contributing factors to the useful life and performance of a tyre - how it has been treated whilst being driven on, the environment in which it has been kept - sunlight, temperature, humidity, etc. It's quite a leap to state that a tyre turning seven years old is going to turn your car into a lethal fireball. I've been quite clear about the age of the tyre in my advert and priced the wheels and tyres accordingly, so if anybody is fearful of erupting into a fireball they could always choose to remove said tyres and replace with some shiny new ones (assuming they can find any for sale at the moment).

Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a flame-free New Year.
