Does anyone know this Turbo Cabriolet?

I don't know the car. But it looks very decent for the money if all is well with it. I like the colour combo. With only 100 of the turbo cabs made in UK spec you may wait forever for a black one, they don't come up very often never mind in a specific colour!

Thanks Stuart,

I actually prefer this blue to black; I went to see the car today and it's pretty, but it a little too rusty, at present, for my liking. Nothing obvious on the body, just around the trailing edges around some of the wheel arches - the dealer is going to sort it and then I'll take a view whether I'm still interested. Would be nice to have a Turbo for the extra shove and very rare as you say. The soft top rear screen needs replaced as it is starting to come loose. And the driver's door needs a new door strap, the door didn't stay in place when opened. My OCD is strong so I'll need to decide whether this car is good enough.

Good you've went and seen it. I had my doubts about the bottom sill areas from the pictures. The sills can cost £2k per side to put right although I got mine done much cheaper than that with new panels.

I had a project S2 cab a few years ago that needed a new rear screen. That can be costly too but I think I got it done to an acceptable standard for about £400 IIRC from a local upholsterer. Leaks from the soft top are another concern and new seals are an absolute fortune.

However if they sort out the tin worm, rear screen, no leaks from soft top and engine is in good nick with recent SH then £20k is a steal!

Make sure you pop the vents out of the B pillar, stick your phone in and take some pictures, that’s the best place to get a handle on the corrosion,

they can look a bit tatty from the outside but horrid inside the sill

The cabriolet sills are more involved than the coupe ones, the Cab has a double floor and extra braces in the sills however 1k per side for the coupe is probably closer so £2k a side for a cab should be possible.
Turbo cabs under 100k miles in good condition are usually advertised up around the £35k mark there was an OPC refreshed one up for over £50k a few years back. There was only 100 - 150 made worldwide in RHD about 625 made in total.

This one though went for £23,500 plus the 6% in July last year with 60K miles so prices may have softened a bit, arguably the blue is a better colour though - at least externally!
