i bought my 991 from PC Bournemouth and had a great experience. I get my car serviced at PC Silverstone and on the last visit I asked to value my car as PX on a 992. Took them a few days but eventually got a price over email which seemed ok. I’ve since emailed twice and called 3 times and left 3 message, over a 7 day period. They have had their chance. I’ll shop elsewhere. Can anyone recommend a good PC? Cambridge is the next closest.
thanks in advance

Tbh with the lack of stock on the second hand car market plus manufacturers with supply issues across the board I would say Silverstone have had their chance , shocking really from a premium brand.
Was told if you go on 'we buy any car' the price they offer you is a good indercator of what an opc might offer you which could even be less.
Or you could always try Collecting car.com online auction site with zero fees to sellers and you can set a reserve price. Auction lasts seven days so could be over before Silverstone get back to you and might be better than a trade in.
Used Cambridge a few times even through it's a bit of a trek from MK.
Keep us posted as others might be interested to hear how this unfolds.

I got a decent offer for my car, eventually. Just ignored me ever since. I’ll give Cambridge a bell. Cheers

I was surprised just how much carzoo offered me for my 718. I know Akil at Porsche Leicester was looking for stock. Worth a phone call

It seems that most OPC's are looking for stock but from my experience they don't want to offer anywhere near the market rate that can be acheived by using companies such as We buy any car, Cazoo, Motorway or collecting cars. Even if you think you have a reasonable offer I would check with at least one of the above you might well be surprised.

Very strange on Porsche Silverstone as they have always been quick to reply any time I had somme enquiries, only a couple of weeks ago asked for some info and they called me back within 48 hours.

I have several bad experiences with Silverstone as had others, and would never recommend them personally.

After calling round a few other OPC I ended up choosing Swindow, the salesmen, customer service and workshop staff are excellent and I can not fault them.

Its a bit of a trek for me from MK, but a good relationship is hard to find. Plus a good excuse to take a day out and drive the car, drop it off and pick up a loan car for the day and enjoy the roads & pub lunch over there.

Good luck, with who ever to decide.
