First post here, so please be kind. I have new to me 1989 turbo in great mechanical condition and learning its niggles/characteristics. One particular niggle is knowing whether thee amount of heat coming into the cabin through the air vents and in the passenger well is normal or something else that needs to be looked into.
Heat is always present, but comes on most after boost has been triggered. The fan has been replaced recently and does bring in cool, outside air but is obviously mixing with the engine heat so at best it is warmish coming into the cabin
It feels hottest on the passenger side and in the picture below, the circled area is extremely hot to the touch after a short journey.
Just keen to get any info on what is normal on these cars.
