London Region 20 holds a regular monthly FREE Porsche breakfast meet on Fish Island right in the heart of East London. The next one is on Sunday 17th October 2021.

The location meets all of R20’s exacting requirements of Space, Soul and Coffee, delivering on all three at this oh-so-trendy spot in East London. There’s an artsy-café, plenty of free parking and the most amazing photographic backdrop.

During the week it is home to craft breweries, artists, and upcoming designers, but at the weekend it is a place to relax with quiet streets and coffee watching the river flow past.

Here’s a link to the R20 Event where you can see pictures and a video of past Out East meets.

So, come along with the R10 convoy and hang out with your fellow Porsche Club GB friends and Porsche enthusiasts at R20’s East London home on Beachy Road, E3 2NS (Out East).

We will depart from Toddington Southbound M1 Services at 7:15am to arrive at the venue around 8:30am. You can also travel independently if you wish, or perhaps use this thread to run your own convoy down the A1 if you are based more towards the east of our region.

Please confirm on this thread whether/how you will be coming, and send an email to mark.grimwood1@btinternet.com
to confirm. Please add your mobile number so I can call you if needed.

Cheers.
Mark

I have been meaning to go along for the last year or so.

Andy

Martina and I plan to take part in this event but will travel down the A1 and meet your there at 08.30.

Thanks for all your replies. See you at Toddington if not before, or at the event.

Sorry you can’t make it Andy.

Hi Mark.

Now I‘m the proud owner of a Porsche, it was inevitable, can I tag along.

Hi everyone,
This is the final call for the convoy to London Out East tomorrow. See above for full details.
If you have been waiting for the weather, it’s going to be fine, so no excuses. Just get yourselves along to Toddington M1 Southbound Services for 7.15 am, and join us for the drive.
We will be in Fish Island for breakfast and to marvel at the variety of Porsches against an industrial and graffiti emblazoned backdrop, ideal for some great photography.
If you fancy a nice drive back, we’ll try to keep off motorways and use some nice Hertfordshire roads for the return journey.
See you in the morning.
Mark

Hi Mark
We hope you have a great day/drive tomorrow. Unable to make it as already planned to be elsewhere.
Best wishes
Sue and Mike

Hi Mark,
Martina and I will see you at Fish Island, we shall be going directly there from home down the A1. The weather is looking promising so with the cars, location and company it should all be good.
