And here she is, my 3rd GT4. First one with pdk, really looking forward to driving her.

Should liven it up a bit

very interested to hear what it's like with PDK.

The manual did not really work for this car imho.

Obviously I’ve owned 2 GT4 manuals in the past, but i really wanted to see how the pdk and engine combo worked. From my limited period at PEC yesterday I can say it completely improves the car in every way. It feels torquey and just more responsive. I drove my modified 981 GTS pdk boxster to and from the centre, and trust me it’s no slouch pushing around 360 horsepower , but the GT4 felt very urgent and responsive in comparison, just a completely different level to the GTS Boxster and previous GT4s

Good to hear PDK suits the GT4.

We are considering a Cayman 4.0 GTS in the future but it would have to be PDK the wife prefers PDK now days.

Enjoy the car it's stunning. [:D]

I was on track in a friends GT4 recently and the PDK 'box definitely makes it quite a different feeling car compared to my manual version.

Enjoy!

I dropped my Gentian Blue/Aurum GT4 off this morning for a service and spied yours in the showroom, couldn't help but take a closer look.

My friend Max (MaxRevs - www.youtube.com/c/MAXREVS) is coming up tomorrow for a drive out to the cotswolds and in the afternoon we were planning on taking a trip to see your car again (he's keen to see a GT4 in Shark Blue) but....you've taking delivery today, congratulations!

More likely because of the very rapid shifting of the PDK ‘box than anything to do with the gearing I suspect Dave, especially the jolt in the back when in Sport mode.

The 718 go-to colour I reckon Jose … looks great! But then I’m a blue and red sort of chap.

Enjoy the new car and let us have your impressions.

cheers Jeff

Nothing to do with the gearing in my view Jeff/Andrew - I was referring to the general vibe and feeling you get from the car...

Do you have the same car/engine but manual? Does it make you regret your decision for a manual? Would be really good to get your insight.
