Momo Steering wheels (Mod 07 or Prototipo) vs MOT & Insurance?

Hi guys,
does anyone know if fitting a non-air bag Momo steering wheel will cause issues with either the UK MOT requirements or insurance in the UK?
I’m thinking of fitting a Mod 07 but not sure if removing the airbag wheel is an issue?
Any advice greatly received!
Thanks, Rick

Super helpful, thanks! My other option is a refurb of my factory leather wheel possibly with some carbon inserts. Still noodling around on options so your comments are gratefully received!

Lots of people I know have done it on GT3s. They cover the airbag light with a sticker. Do they all know a friendly MOT guy? ???????

I'd sooner plant my face into an air cushion than have MOMO printed on my forehead for the rest of my days personally speaking.

Actually I think it would appear on your forehead as OMOM...[:)]
