2020 Panamera 4S Hybrid E-Hybrid Sport Turismo - Electrical Faults

Has anybody been experiencing ongoing electrical system faults with their Panamera?

I purchased my Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo from Porsche Colchester in April 2021, with 500 mile on the clock. The car has on 4 occasions displayed a range of system fault errors and sometimes all of the following faults,
Airbag Error,
PSM Fault,
ACC/PAS not available,
Pedestrian warning not available,
Driving Light Control Fault,
Full Beam Assistance not available
LCA not available,
and the complete right hand channel of the Burmester music system stopped working.
On each occasion the car has been transported from Kingston Upon Thames to Colchester and a replacement car provided.

The Car has been back to Porsche Colchester (who have been very helpful) on 3 occasions, the last of which was for 2 weeks whilst they throughly investigated and rectified the faults. I collected the car at the end of June and all seem to be well. I have since driven approximately 2,800 miles since the end of June without problems until yesterday, 11th August, when the Airbag Error fault reoccurred.

Is anybody aware of a wider electrical fault problems with Panameras?

Sorry to hear that you have been experiencing electrical problems with your Panamera.

I’ve had mine for 3 1/2 years from new and have not experienced any issues with the electrics. It’s been totally sound mechanically too.

Interesting that you bought it with only 500 miles on the clock. Was it an ex demo or Porsche GB car, or had it been rejected by a previous owner I wonder?

Sorry not to be more help and hope you get the issues finally resolved before too long. Sounds like the dealer is looking after you, which is good.

Probably not a lot of help to you but I have a few electronic gliches on my 2012 Turbo. It was purchased privately 3 or 4 years ago following a pre-purchase inspection by PC Colchester. Nothing noted then but I was soon getting a few warnings. Most of them were "probably" sensor issues so, as the car was out of warranty, I decided to live with them. Some have gone away, a couple pop up a few times in a week then go away and only one pops up regularly - Electric Brake Fault. This has been checked out and there is no fault. To be honest, I suspect the PCC engineers don't (or perhaps can't) look much further than the fault codes, so if it's not the sensor and it's not the reported fault, they are a bit stuck.

One weird fault is that the "recent destinations" list in the sat nav is often blank, but if you click on an entry the destination is stored - just not named. What's odd is that I can go weeks without a problem and then weeks with every new destination blank. At other times it might name about half the destinations, but not the rest. PCC's solution of replacing the satnav (for a mere £5k as I recall) was not taken up!
