Hi everyone,
I am planning a drive to Eastern Regions 60th Anniversary at IWM Duxford next Sunday, which will leave Kempston, just off the A421, and follow some nice roads, to arrive at the venue around 9.30 am.

So we’ll depart Premier Inn/ Brewers Fayre, Bedford South, Kempston MK42 7FY at 8.15am. Please be there in plenty of time to leave then. Let me know on here if you are joining so we know to look out for you.

We’ll cross the A1 at Sandy or Baldock (not sure yet which!). If you are using the A1 and want to join in after the convoy has left Kempston, let me know.

Cheers.
Mark

Happy to join the convoy Mark as I’ll be passing that way from Buckingham- see you just before 0815 Sunday morning.

Hi,
did everyone receive a link to print tomorrow’s tickets. I’ve still not received anything other the event instructions and my original confirmation of purchase message.
thanks
Gary

Thanks to all those replying about joining the convoy tomorrow. This is a reminder to those that might still like to come along for an 8.15 departure from Premier Inn/ Brewers Fayre, Bedford South, Kempston MK42 7FY.

Some of us are taking a picnic lunch and will assemble under my chequered flag, which I will hoist from around 12.45pm if you wish to join in.

Cheers.

Mark,
Many thanks for leading the convoy this morning. Some great bits of cross country roads which landed us conveniently on the correct approach to the event entrance.
My drive home was pretty boring by comparison. Sorry I missed seeing and thanking you in person after we arrived.

Hi Mike,
I just found your post as I was clearing out emails. Sorry I missed it.
I’m just glad you could come along in the convoy. It’s fun to have a few cars together and on a drive of that distance I like to find some nice roads.
The event was well organised and the weather remained kind, so all in all, a good day…
Cheers.
Mark
