Most people will have found out by now that the above event has been cancelled for some obscure reason by Lancaster City Council.
This event has been difficult for me to organise as it has been via a third party so I have not had full control.
My contact for the run is Gerry Watson Tel. 01274 411288. He seems to think that as the money already paid is for a charity then members will not mind donating their entry fee. However, I feel that I must give members the opportunity to claim their money back if they wish. Please feel to contact Gerry to organise this.

I intend to keep the breakfast meeting at Keelham Farm Shop in Skipton available for existing participants and any other members that would now care to join us. Would members already booked please confirm their attendance. All other members please sign up below if you would like to attend. See previous post about the event for details.

I am currently waiting to speak to The Grand Hotel in St Annes about the possibility of them providing afternoon tea after we have had a nice scenic run over from Skipton and a walk along the prom.??
Please keep an eye on the forum for further details and to register your interest.

Cheers,
Chris

Please may I join the drive out on Sunday 5th September. I will be driving RCH363M or JH62OAK depending on the weather ! Many thanks, James.

UPDATE
After some problems with hotels I have finally secured afternoon tea at The Villa, Wrea Green which is near Morecambe/ St Anne’s for any members who have booked accommodation in the area.
This is a lovely hotel that Linda and I have used in the past. A room has been reserved for us with the cost of afternoon tea being £15.95 per person.
It is essential that existing participants let me know ASAP if they require afternoon tea and let me know of any dietary requirements so that I can make necessary arrangements with the hotel.
Attendees so far-

John and Karen Elliot
David and Christine Southam
Peter Brook plus one
Geoff and Julia
Rik and Joyce Rigg
David and Kathryn
Chris and Linda
Mark (Penkhullwolf) plus one
James Hopper plus one

Any other members wishing to join us on Sunday 5th Sept please sign up below ASAP.

Chris

Hi Chris
No afternoon tea for us thanks, we've a dinner booked in the evening.
Sorry but couldn't manage breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner.
We're happy to still go there, just not eat.
Strange but we were in Wrea Green on Sunday, and I'd never heard of it until then.
Regards
David & Kathryn

Afternoon tea for us Chris, probably just have a coffee/tea at Keelhams.

Thanks.
Geoff and Julia.

Just to let people know that rooms are available at The Villa on the Sunday for £85 B and B should anyone wish to stay over. They have a wide range of bar food etc available if anyone can eat it after afternoon tea!! Just phone the hotel direct and mention you are attending the afternoon tea.
Linda and I are staying Sun/ Mon night.???? Nice area to explore.
