Younger daughter, Laura's wedding day today and these two beauties at her disposal! [:)]
Regards,
Clive

Stunning cars and congratulations on your daughter's wedding. Hope you all have a lovely day, enjoy!

Many thanks, Schuey,

Dad's staying well away from all the ladies pre-wedding action.
But son-in-law to-be gets to drive the Turbo S, so he's a double winner today! :ROFLMAO:

Regards,

Clive

Have a great day Clive and Judy and congratulations to Laura and hubby to be. Can you send us your speech! [:D] I think you should keep the turbo like that after...

Obliged Alan, I will make a video available for the next R15 meeting (joking)! [&:]:ROFLMAO:

Thanks Dylan, I did ask to be excused for the FOS but met with considerable opposition! [] :p

Regards,

Clive

Clive / Judy

Hope you all had a great day and that the weather was kind.

All our best wishes.

Geoff & Caroline

Leo spies grandad's car at the wedding!
Pleased to report everything went off without a hitch and Miss White has now metamorphosed into Mrs. Ward.
The bride was naturally the star of the show, but the wedding cars aroused great interest too - particularly from the younger generation! [:)] I detect a future Porsche owner in the making! [:D]
Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Time now to catch breath and relax. [;)]

Clive

Best wedding cars I've seen!

Quick question on the 911 front number plate. Did you take the plinth off and did it leave any holes? I like the idea of the stick on plate but worry holes will be left and the stick on plate will be a little creased because of the curve on the bumper?

The plinth will have been fitted with two self tapping screws. If you take it off there will be two visible holes.

Hi Simon,
A stick-on plate was supplied from new, so the plinth was never fitted. Should you decide to remove yours, there may well be very small screw holes left. However, these could easily be removed by a competent body-shop or alternatively, concealed using pan or socket head S/S screws. Where there's a will there's a way! [;)]

The original plate was replaced with a better, laminated version when the PPF was applied and you are right, it's tricky to fit. This is due to the triple radius shape of the TTS front bumper. However, if you persevere with sufficient lubricant and heat, you will get there and end up with a great result. [:)]

Regards,

Clive

Wow! I know it's been a long time since you shared those 2 beauties with us, but I had to say they look amazing! My daughter and her groom are currently planning their wedding for the summer. They don't know what car to choose now, but now I know what to advise them. Thanks a lot. The red one is especially amazing!

Yep. It's just coming up to 2 years old now and still amazes me. ????
Dan, the bridegroom later confided secretly that driving it was the best part of his day! :ROFLMAO:

Clive

Hey there! Thanks for bumping, now I want a red turbo s, guys! As for choosing a wedding car, it can be a tough decision, for sure. Do you know what they want exactly? If you're looking for more options, you should check out Wedding Cars in Essex. They have a great selection of cars that would be perfect for your daughter's summer wedding. Strange first post given you joined the forum as a guest yesterday. Care to explain?

The Turbo looks great Clive, I hope you all had a fabulous day. If you send a brief report and some images to 992@porscheclubgb.com we can perhaps use it in a forthcoming 992 Register report in PP.

Kind Regards David

Thanks David,

I'm happy to do that, but it's not that topical really - I first posted this nearly 2 years ago, then someone just bumped it recently.

The issue from this happy union is my latest, 10 week old grandson, Archie James! [:D]
