Yorkshire Porsche Festival 60th anniversary postponement

Sadly, the postponement of the Yorkshire Porsche Festival 60th anniversary, planned as a three day series of events at Lotherton and Bowcliffe Hall including local area drives have left a considerable hole in our calendar.

The current capacity restrictions at Leeds CC venues which curtailed the hosting the Yorkshire Porsche Festival seriously affect our options for holding events, we are not alone in this and are actively looking for suitable locations that can host large outdoor gatherings.

We are also seeking involvement with established event organisers such as "classicshows” who we participated with at the Castle Howard Father’s day show, to increase the number of opportunities for members to socialise, within the current restrictions.

Any events we can organise will be posted on the forum and Facebook page.

We welcome any suggestions for events or locations that would be suitable, there are probably hundreds of great venues and ideas, please share them.

Hi Peter
I bet the event would have gone ahead if it involved kicking a bladder round a field. Or hitting a ball over a net. One rule for one, Especially when large amounts of money are involved. Or am I just been cynical.

All we can do is move on and plan to fill the void that we now have in the calendar for August, stay tuned...
