It would seem that there are still places available for the PCGB Croft Trackday next Wednesday 23rd June 2021.

I’ll be there and have made a booking.

Anyone else thinking of going?

I’ve been on the waiting list for ages, so will have to have a look - although I’m not sure I can actually make it now due to other appointments!

Hi Randal

I might call down to watch for a while with the 944 where it lived as a track car for many years. Down to Porsche Teeside Weds next week for the well overdue GTS service.

Will post to let you know if I am going and could arrange to meet up in the valley to drive down ?

Alastair

Good morning Gordon,

it might be worth contacting PCGB to see if spaces have freed up but they not notified you.

Let me know how it works out.

Alastair,

That would be great.

I haven‘t received any joining instructions as yet but am expecting an earlyish start to get there for 9am or whenever for safety briefings, course briefings, coffee refuelling etc.

Lets stay in touch via PM.

My place should be available too as I've had to cancel due to the requirement for 10 days' isolation following identification as a close contact of a work colleague, who's tested positive for the dreaded infection.

It's all a bit of a nuisance (or stronger words to that effect)!

Hope you all enjoy.

John

John,

Sorry to hear that. l’m sure that September remains in the dairy.

Hope the 10 days pass in good health.

Did anyone get a definitive answer as to whether spectators will be allowed? Ive just had a full day meeting cancel tomorrow so would relish the chance to pop down and watch?

Simon, the below text is copied from the Croft website......looks like a no go unless you are brave enough to phone and ask them....let us know if you get an update to go....its says their site was updated 28th June 2021 ????? so not sure if they are managing it properly, maybe they've changed it?

SPECTATING AT THE CIRCUIT

Currently there is no access to the public on car track days, bike track days and test days. Security at the gate will ensure this. However, at race meetings we are now able to welcome a limited number of spectators in line with the Government guidelines. Tickets for race meeting events must be purchased online in advance of the event. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the day at the ticket office. Tickets must be purchased before midday on the Thursday prior to the event.

*Spectators are not able to access any of the paddock areas where competition cars are parked, this includes the paddocks, pit lane and garages. *.

Season and neighbour pass holders may need to notify us in advance if they plan to attend any event, but we will contact them direct in advance of the event.
