Great Day

Did your route take you Hawes in the Dales? Was leaving and saw about a dozen various Porsche’s coming in the other direction. I was in a fiesta ST (was one on a run out - EML/GPF issues with it so was trying to do the the diagnostics for the dealer!) had been out in the Cayman GTS earlier....

No Paul, wasn’t us - must’ve been some lesser group!!

Where are you based if you were in Hawes? Still enjoying your GTS?

Hi Gordon - I’m not far from Thirsk, so not far from Hawes (40 mins or so).

Yes, loving the GTS, it’s a 2.5, had it since August of last year and just managed to get to 2,000 miles on Sunday...so officially run in...!

Well done, Paul. Yes, I remember your debate over 2.5 pdk and 4 litre manual. Didn’t realise you were in this area. Have you been to any R3 events yet?

yes, that’s right, was an interesting decision, but don’t regret getting the 2.5 F4T PDK.....many may have other views, but we are all different.

In terms of events, I’ve been totally absent - something I really should do something about. I had been spending a lot of time away from home until Covid but i think the world has changed and I’m more likely to be home based with minimal travel, so will have more opportunity to attend.....that’s the theory ;)
