Potential new Cayenne Owner - Excited!!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are keeping well. After much deliberation I have decided I’d like a Porsche Cayenne. I’m looking to spend circa £20k - £25k, for an immaculate, low mileage example. I’m a bit OCD with my cars so will often opt for a car that is in showroom condition even if it means missing out on better spec.

Previously I have owned three BMW X5’s, Range Rover Sport and currently drive a pristine Audi A8 (2012).

This will therefore be my first ever Porsche and I’m genuinely excited at the prospect!

So some help please! I’m struggling to find a Cayenne with everything I want, ie reverse parking camera and BOSE sound system.

I really enjoy my music so question is, is there a massive difference between the standard Porsche sound system versus the Bose?

If the answer is yes, could I simply replace the standard speakers with better ones without removing the head unit in the dash? I hate removing interior parts as often they don’t fit back perfectly or without damage.

Did say I was OCD.....thank you everyone!

Bought my Cayenne from a member of the this Club at the weekend, great car (new condition) would be worth keeping an eye on the for sale section in my view. Camera and Bose are worth waiting for and ApplePlay. Good luck on the search.

Nice! Got any pics? Would love to see it.

The sale of my Audi A8 fell through as he couldnt raise the finance so I have more time to find one now. I have seen a couple with the BOSE sound system and camera but condition wasn't as nice as I would like. There's one on for £25k which is in fabulous condition but no BOSE and alloys arent the best. Interesting few weeks ahead!

Just put a deposit down on a 2014 Porsche Cayenne with pan roof, BOSE, parking camera, air suspension, 40k miles with full service history.

Wish me luck folks!

I have owned the Cayenne for three months now and have to admit I love it. Its got a solid drive, the interior is fantastic and it certainly stands out from the crowd with its Porsche styling.

As per my original post, I am OCD when it comes to my cars and I like them to be perfect. Overall the car is in very good condition however its clear they didnt look after the boot area. I want to change the boot floor, anyone have any advice on where I can pick up a new one and/or how easy it is to remove the boot floor and replace?

Do you mean the carpet or the heavy duty plastic liner?

I've had one of these which more or less fits all the variants from yours onwards. Hardwearing and covers the carpet.

or you could try a carpet liner like this

Thanks for this. I have bought the actual boot floor, so need to remove the floor thats in there and replace it with the new one, along with a new chrome boot lock trim. This will bring the car back to as new condition in the boot. The only challenge now is finding someone in the Midlands that can fit it. Its a fairly easy job for someone who knows what they are doing. Any suggestions?
