car cover bubbles

Hi All

Anyone with experience of the different types of storage bubble? STrikes me you have the Carcoon etc which are frameless and I'm not keen on because they drape over the car then inflate; the Airflow type which are all transparent PVC with a slim frame and the Cair-O-Port which looks a bit more substantial and has more advertised airflow over the car. However it looks like it takes up more space than the others because of its exoskeleton and I want to keep some bikes in the garage so space is tight.

Anyone have one of these and can give their views on it please?

Same here, airflow been used for my cars, about same amount of time as Rich and been great (only had one fan to replace since I got them) :

thanks chaps, what size for an sc - small 4.5 x 2.0 x 1.8? There seems to be a lot of space in Franck's chamber!

...or in a ‘normal’ garage with sufficient ventilation - never had a problem with that.

Very true (the main thing being good ventilation as you say)

Yes I get that I've never needed a cocoon before but my garage is ancient with crumbling lime render so it's dust protection more than moisture protection I need. Ventilation not an issue, it's windy in there.

My only advice is to go for the biggest one you can fit in as it will give you more space inside when getting in and out of the car (when measuring, keep in mind that the dimensions given are for the frame so add 10cms each side as when inflated it will ''bubble up'' a little.
