991.1 C4 Drive side window switch replacement

All - after some guidance please. My car is a 2015 991.1 C4

The up/down button for the driver side has snapped meaning I need to replace the whole unit and have found the part on Design911 - what I can‘t find online is any guide to replace the unit. Does anyone know whether the entire internal door panel needs to be taken off (have found a video guide) in order to unclip the window control unit or you can get to the release catches another way (seems possible on Cayenne as example).
