Hi, I have just purchased a 991.2 Targa. After washing, or rain, the roof sticks and needs a bit of encouragement To open. Glass part of fine, just the vinyl element that sticks. Anyone else have this? I think it is sticking between targa bar and the roof rubber. Any advice on care, lubricants, etc ..

This was suggested by my Centre in the context of keeping Cabriolet roof rubber seals and runners flexible to avoiding restrictions. It may be what the previous poster's Centre has done 3 times but maybe worth a try?

Week 2 update , and no update ???? Went in today and they still can’t fix it, new looms fitted, proximity sensors etc etc, rear clamshell goes down all the way then faults

It had already had proximity sensors, replacement looms etc, but they put it down to the tension and alignment going out of spec, it was in at Tewksbury and highly recommended them,

nice cheap day all in all 2 rear tyres and discs and pads all round, at least the roof was warranty ????
