My 991 Carrera S needs the rear-wheel arch plastic film covering replaced on both sides as it is nearly ten years old and is pitted. Could someone please advise the best way to have this done.....OPC or independent specialist? I am in the Bristol area. Thank you.

Get Topaz on Cribbs Causeway to make you up a pair. They use Xpel Ultra PPF which is self healing and doesn't yellow. Greg is the main man there. [:)]

Regards,

Clive

I spoke with Topaz and their quote was £2950 for the arches and a full front. They would not quote for just the arches for some reason. Is there anyone else in the Bristol area worth trying please?

Try Reep,

I paid £2200 for PPF full front, sides inc sills, top of windscreen + ceramic coating by a regional Reep shop via a Northern dealer arrangement when buying my GT3.

Hi John,
How would you feel about a trip down the M5 to Barnstaple?
I have someone here who can help or he can produce them and post them on for you for self-fit.
PM me your phone number and I'll obtain a price. I'll probably get a pair for myself too.

Regards,

Clive

Thanks Clive but I have just had a price of £190 inc vat for the pair fitted from Richard at OPC Bristol so they can do it when it goes in for its service later ths year. Thanks for the suggestions everyone - much appreciated.

Good result then, well done! [:)]
I've been toying with idea of fitting satin black shark fins on my Guards Red car, but I'm still a bit undecided atm.

Clive

Hah! I had to Google shark fin (apart from the obvious!). There are some great images - I have seen your new car and satin black would be a good match.
