993 Headlight Alignment.

I have recently upgraded my headlights from the Bergvill f/x T-Light V2 dipped beam system to the V3 system including LED high beams. Having completed all the necessary lamp changes I set about checking the beam settings. The vertical adjustment works ok, but the lateral adjustment screw just seems to duplicate the vertical adjustment screw. Can anyone throw any light (ha ha) on how to get the lateral adjusters to work as intended.
 
Now if only my article featuring an exploded headlamp was still here .. perhaps I should sell copies via the Register & Technical Director (with full copyright protection, of course).
