Hi
I've just joined, I got my 986 S a few months ago and I love it.

Can anyone recommend an independent Porsche specialist in Co. Down or is there just Porsche Belfast?

Hope to meet some of you around! :)

Hi Welcome,

You will note there is not much activity on this forum. There is good activity through Facebook so search for Porsche Club GB - Northern Ireland Region.

There are a few independents that can look after your car. 2 most popular are not based in Co. Down but worth the travel

McMillan Specialist Cars close to Junction One and Alan McGookin in Ballyclare. Both easily located on Google.

I note you edited the tyres query out but i would recommend if you contact either of the above they will inspect you tyres and make recommendations as fittings good tyres can completely change the driving experience on these cars.

Good luck and welcome again. There are plenty of Porsche in NI and a good bunch of people who enjoy driving them and kicking tyres if you are in to that too!

Regards

Graeme

Thank you Graeme!

I had moved my tyres query to another thread in the chat.

I'll check out those two independents and the FB group.

I'd be interested in tyre kicking - not much point having a nice car and not driving it! :)

All the best.

Although I am not able to help here, I would like to say what a lovely looking motor you got yourself, very classy!

Enjoy! šŸ˜ƒ

I used to have a similar colour combo 991.2 S, and so I am very biased: [:)]
