Zoom Reminder Tuesday 13 April 2021
This will be at 7.30pm when we will have either a technician or service advisor from Porsche Centre Bolton joining us to offer advice and listen to your queries.

A mailchimp will be sent out to all Register members in the next day or so with the relevant link.

If you have any questions in advance, please send them on to me at 992@posrcheclubgb.com so they have the time to get the correct information for you.

See you there!

I have been in touch with the service manager and he says there will be a filmed walk round of one of their new 992s in the showroom pointing out various items we may have ‘overlooked’. That should be interesting and hopefully informative.

I have given him a list of questions that I have compiled, but if you have any more please email me at: 992@porscheclubgb.com

Thanks, Peter

Just a reminder about the 992 Register Zoom meeting at 7.30pm tonight.

Hopefully see many of you online!

Hi Peter, I don't appear to have received a link for this meeting, please can you send the Zoom call details across?

Thanks.

Excellent presentation, thoroughly enjoyed it. Learned quite a bit about the 992.

I missed the point about running a long bolt underneath the transmission to resolve some problem. What was that all about, please?

Regards,

Clive

Was a really interesting session. the Targa was lovely, can't believe I already have car envy in such a short time after getting my 992. Good to know about the GPFs too, i will remember that on motorway driving.

Clive, do you mean when the engineer was under the car, he pointed out a switch/valve that allowed the car to be put into neutral in case it froze/died and needed recovery "but not many recovery companies know about it"

Thanks for arranging and look forward to the next call (hopefully with everyone's microphones muted!) or even better actually face to face / tyre to tyre.

Richard

Really enjoyable Zoom session last night, thanks for arranging Peter and our special thanks to the team at Porsche Bolton.

Although I am a bit of a Black fiend regarding the colours of my past cars, I am starting to like that shade of the Green. The Targa with that spec would probably be quite expensive, although after having a 991.2 Targa 4S I still do like the clean look of them, but it's a little too early to change again just yet.

David

Thanks chaps.

My recollection is different. When the technician was under the gearbox, he pointed out a small receptacle and said that in the event of a parking brake failure and it staying locked on it could be freed by inserting a screwdriver to free it up.

I did manage to start to record the call just as the technician came on. I’ll double check.
