Anyone ever done this on any Porsche not just Panamera and after doing so getting all sorts of fault codes coming up , diff sensor , Psm , etc then rough running ?

your thoughts please

and before anyone asks , the 21 with tyres are the same size within 0.06 of a 19inch wheel with tyre ,

Guy,

I’m not a Panamera owner but there shouldn’t be a problem provided as you say the rolling diameter isn’t substantially different to avoid speedo inaccuracies. The larger diameter will give you more clearance for the brakes but you’ll need to make sure that the rim size and offset are suitable for your car to avoid fouling on the wheel arches and body, although if you’re fitting Panamera wheels I wouldn’t expect there to be a problem.

Your local Porsche Centre should be able to advise you, and it would be worthwhile contacting them on all aspects of your proposed upgrade to see if there are any unforeseen pitfalls.

Thanks Jeff

as I suspected just don’t like being told by a Porsche service manager you cannot fit 21 inch wheels as it throws out and triggers faults before realising a 19 inch wheel and a 21 inch wheel with tyres is only 0.06 % out size wise .. not a good start to build a relationship with a dealer .

my previous post will explain all re service etc .

thanks for your time Jeff

I run 21’s with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Have you a scan tool to get the codes ? Really worthwhile investing in one .

actually sounds like a dodgy ingnition coil.
