Hi All,

Just joined the club, based close to Macclesfield. Seems I joined at a strange time for various reasons, but hoping for some possible meets and drives later in the year. I'm somewhat of a track rat too.

Currently have my 718 GT4 for sale, 981 GT4 before that and 997 C2S before that. Have something of a grail for me landing in June and cannot wait to set it loose. :)

Hope to meet some of you soon.

Pete

Hi Pete,

Welcome to Porsche Club GB and in particular Region 5.

As the lockdown eases the region’s organising committee has lots of events and drives planned, Covid permitting. Our Regional Organiser Matt Staines will send you a monthly email to update you on forthcoming events.

You can also see quite a lot of information about the members and our activities on the Region 5 Facebook page: Porsche Club GB North West Region.

I am also based close to Macclesfield and am also a GT4 driver.

Do you plan to attend any of the club’s track days?

I hope that we can meet up soon and in the meantime, if you have any questions or queries about the club, do please get in touch.

Kind regards,

Martin

Welcome to the club Pete... hopefully see you at some events for R5 in the future when we get back to normal...

I certainly plan to do as much as possible once allowed. Trackdays are very high on the list and hopefully get to some club days this year. I will keep a close eye on things as they develop and attend regional events as they happen. Be great to chew the fat and kick some proverbial tyres with some people who actually love their cars. My wife is incredibly bored of it! :)
