Hi all, just taken delivery of my first 911, a 2016 991.2 Carerra S. Got a few issues and before I go running to Porsche wondered if anyone can help.
I have folding mirror option so set this in vehicle settings to fold on locking, however, works once then setting resets to off. Same with comfort setting.
unable to open engine compartment lid with the button, don’t know if this is a switch issue as I cannot hear any sound at all.
air con resets after ignition is turned off so doesn’t sync both sides and air con is set to on.

fairly certain I am doing something wrong but have tried reading manual many times and won’t work for me.

Hmm - bonnet opening button not working is beyond me but for folding mirrors on locking and remembering aircon settings, assuming that you have "drivers memory package" (are there 3 buttons on the drivers door numbered 1-3 and one with a key symbol?), try the following. Set things as you want them and then save your settings to the key symbol which should update the key you are using. It sounds like when you lock or switch off it is defaulting to the last settings saved to the key. You will get a confirmation sound when you save settings (press top button and then key symbol). I also save my settings to a number as then if there is a second driver you can easily recall your own personal settings afterwards.
Hope this helps...it might not [;)]

You can also scroll through the PCM find and untick the box that says "Save Settings on Exit" because if there are 2 users it will always use the setting of the most recent driver.

Regards,

Clive
