Hi guys

The old girl needs a new Windscreen.
my question is, do the after market screens (Autoglass etc.) have the embedded radio antenna fitted?

regards
Nigel

Hi I had a replcement screen fitted about three years ago by my local screen guys at Ipswich Car glass and trim and the radio has worked better ever since

The screen should be OE spec, so the ariel should be included, if it was there as standard. Easy option is just to ask the when you book it.

tbh, you need to be far, far, far, far, far, far more worried about how they take the screen out. On my old 944S2, they sliced the dashboard and they had to pay for a complete new dash assembly to be fitted. Watch them like a hawk and make the fitter well aware that if the dash gets damaged, his company will be paying for a replacement dash. Another word of caution, I doubt it's that easy to get hold of a new dash, the one used on my car was a good 2nd hand part.

Hi
Thats good advice, thanks.
The people I’m going to use insist that it’s done in their workshop.
