Battery Problems ?

Car is a 991.1 15 Reg with original Porsche battery now about 6 years old. Have had a couple of low battery warnings on turning on the ignition before start up on the dash info display saying that certain internal electrics would be switched off to conserve power. Car started ok each time and did not sound sluggish to turn over. The voltmeter display showed about 12 volts before start-up and thereafter charged at 14.9 - 15 volts throughout each journey. There is no guidance in the handbook as to what the voltage indicator should ideally read but from memory it appears higher than previously. Have checked battery condition with my own battery tester which shows red + 2 greens out of the 4 greens even after putting on a charger and connecting a trickle charger. Best case - the battery needs renewing; worst case - the alternator or voltage regulator are playing up. Any thoughts please. Thank you

Exact same model.
Same issues last summer.
Replaced battery and now all good.
The annoying stop start is even working in the cold weather.
Batteries seem to only last 3 - 5 yrs at optimum performance.
P.S. I also have a digital battery tester which gives a fairly detailed written analysis of battery health and performance. It said the old battery was okay.

Many thanks. Looks like a battery change in the offing. Would have liked to replace with a Bosche Silver, as I have with previous 911's, but as the car is under a Porsche warranty I am reliably informed that if I do not fit a Porsche battery (made by Bosche for Porsche I believe but twice the price) it could invalidate some aspects of the Warranty. C'est la vie. PS-I only switch the stop/start on for long journeys to activate the 'glide' function otherwise it is just an unnecessary drain on the battery and starter motor.
