Porsche 968

I have a rare 968 as it has magenta interior. I have data that says only 7 were imported to the US, only 2 with split leather upholstery. Does anyone have information on ROW information? Also the rear seats have some damage at the top due to the sun, does anyone know of a material supplier who can match the original Porsche design? Thanks.

Hi

welcome, I don’t know of anyone who supplies that colour material

but I personally know of 3 cars local with that colour interior

i will make some enquiries in the U.K. about spare cloth or vinyl

You're asking in the wrong forum - despite Waylander's reply! The 968 sub-forum of PCGB is unfortunately moribund, the forum at Porssche968uk is far more active and has very knowledgeable and helpful members (like Waylander!). Although not currently a 968 owner, I had a tip coupe for 12 1/2 years and then a tip cab for a further 8 1/2, and am still an active member on that forum - plus have been a PCGB member for about 13 years, although that may come to a natural end soon. OK, there is a procedure and cost to joining the 968uk forum, but for a 968 owner it's well worthwhile - there are members who have dismantled just about every part of a 968 (of whichever variety, coupe, cab, Sport, CS, manual or tip), put it back together and documented their work with instructions and photos.
