Use of flushing oil when changing oil and filter

Hi,
Is it worth using flushing oil, may be once or twice even, before replacing the oil with new Mobil 1 and a new filter?
Looking at a 2001 Porsche 986 Boxster S manual.

Personally I wouldn’t bother. Just change the oil and filter and you’re good to go.

Modern oils contain cleaning agents, among other additives, so additional flushing really isn’t necessary. It’s your choice of course.

Never known any Porsche official or specialist flush before a routine oil change.
If the car has been standing for a VERY long time (years/decade) or the oil came out looking evil, then maybe I would.
