Hi all,

Another new member. Have a deposit down on a 996 C2 but unfortunately can't pick it up due to the current restrictions. Hopefully I can get my hands on it in the not too distant future.

Been a long time getting a 911 - have a much loved Elise S1, Caterham and old BMW in the garage and had a Cayman GT4 a few years ago but happy to have finally got what I have fancied for a very long time. Have plenty of plans for it when I get it - hopefully sooner rather than later!

Welcome to club and the region I think you will enjoy it[:)] I spent many happy times there, great people, good company and events when permissible there. I now live in WA and we are so far the lucky ones as life is as near normal as it can be in these trying times.

Welcome to the Region Drifter, hopefully it won’t be too long until you can get your 996.

Martin Foster, the Regional Organiser, sends out monthly updates so you will be able to see what is going on in the region.

Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, there is not much happening at the moment but there are lot of plans for events once restrictions are lifted.

Thanks both - can't wait to get my hands on it and get out there driving and enjoying. Maybe a little while unfortunately.

The list of modifications is getting longer by the day as I watch all the 996 videos on YouTube!

Welcome, Drifter.

You aren't the only one planning mods. My only problem is I don't fancy actually doing the work on my car in the cold, so the spare parts are mounting up!
